Our rules keep the Minecraft server and Discord welcoming, fair and safe. Open the section you need and take a moment to read it carefully.
By joining the Towny Reborn Minecraft network, accessing our Discord or continuing to use any Towny Reborn service, you agree to the current rules. Not reading a rule does not excuse a violation.
These rules apply across the entire Towny Reborn Minecraft network, including public chat, private messages, towns, claims and connected services.
Treat everyone with respect. Racism, homophobia, hate speech, threats and targeted harassment are strictly prohibited. Mild swearing is allowed when it is not excessive or directed at another player.
Public chats are English-only so everyone can participate and staff can moderate them. Other languages may be used in private messages and private town chats. Keep controversial real-world topics out of public chat.
Griefing, stealing and raiding are prohibited, including builds and containers outside claimed land. If another player built or placed something, leave it alone. Staff-approved events are the only exception.
Be considerate when settling near another town. Do not deliberately block expansion, surround claims or build purely to provoke neighbouring players. Staff may intervene in unreasonable claim disputes.
Hacked clients, X-ray, freecam abuse, combat automation, autoclickers, macros and minimaps that reveal caves, entities or hidden players are prohibited. Performance mods, shaders, inventory sorting and normal minimaps are allowed when they provide no unfair advantage. Ask staff if unsure.
Never abuse bugs, duplication methods or Minecraft/plugin exploits. Report exploitable issues privately through a ticket. Do not demonstrate or share them with other players.
You may use one alternate account, meaning a maximum of two accounts in total. Alts may not bypass punishments, cooldowns, votes, rewards, shop limits, AFK systems or any other restriction.
AFKing at farms and using automatic mob killing or item collection is allowed. Macros, bots, autoclickers, automated player input and systems designed to bypass AFK detection are prohibited. Farms must remain at a reasonable scale and follow the Server Health Guide below.
Preserve the main Towny world and use the Resource World for large-scale gathering. The Resource World resets regularly, so do not store valuable items or permanent builds there.
Scamming, impersonating other players, advertising other Minecraft networks, sharing malicious links and exposing personal information are prohibited.
Buying, selling or trading in-game currency, items, accounts, towns, claims or services for real money, gift cards, cryptocurrency or other external valuables is strictly prohibited. Both buyer and seller may be permanently banned. Official Towny Reborn store packages and staff-approved prizes are the only exceptions.
Attempts to crash the network, spoof identities, threaten DDoS attacks or damage server infrastructure will result in a permanent ban.
AFK farms, automatic mob killing and automatic item collection are allowed. Farms do not need to be operated manually and are not required to have an off switch. Every build must remain within a reasonable scale. Staff may request changes when a farm, storage system or redstone machine noticeably affects server performance.
Except for the placed-spawner limit, there is currently no universal numerical limit for every farm type. Decisions are based on actual scale and performance impact. If you are unsure about a large project, open a ticket before building it. Approval for one design does not automatically cover larger or modified versions.
These rules apply throughout the official Towny Reborn Discord, including channels, threads, voice chat, profiles and direct-message abuse.

Keep messages, media, bot commands and promotions in their appropriate channels. Read channel descriptions before posting.
Public Towny Reborn channels are English-only so everyone can participate and staff can moderate them.
Do not spam messages, flood reactions, use excessive capital letters or repeatedly ping members and staff.
NSFW content, excessive gore, illegal material and deliberately offensive profile names, avatars or statuses are prohibited.
Discord servers belonging to a Towny Reborn town, nation, player group or related community project may be shared in the designated self-promo channel. Other Discord invites, Minecraft server advertisements and unrelated promotions require staff approval.
Phishing links, malicious downloads, scams and unsolicited advertising through direct messages are prohibited. Offering or requesting external valuables for Towny Reborn items, currency, accounts or services is strictly prohibited.
Never expose personal information, dox another person, impersonate somebody or threaten DDoS attacks.
Towny Reborn is generally not responsible for activity outside the official Discord. However, threats, harassment, scams or planned rule violations that directly affect Towny Reborn may be reported with sufficient evidence. Staff may intervene when external behaviour creates a clear risk, but cannot guarantee moderation of private Discord servers.
Do not ping staff for routine help. Use the correct support channel or open a private ticket. Reports and punishment discussions should not be handled publicly.
In-game rules also apply to the Minecraft chat bridge. Exploit discussion, punishment evasion, real-money trading and impersonation are prohibited across both platforms.
You must follow Discord's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines while participating in the server.

Towny Reborn staff have final authority to interpret and enforce the rules, assess evidence and determine penalties. Written rules cannot cover every situation. Staff may act against disruptive, harmful, dishonest, abusive or technically dangerous behaviour even when the exact behaviour is not specifically listed. Depending on severity, warnings, mutes, kicks, restrictions or bans may be issued without notice.
If you disagree with a decision or believe a mistake was made, open a ticket and explain the situation calmly. Public arguments, accusations, staff harassment, punishment evasion and attempts to pressure staff may lead to additional consequences. Tickets are the official place for complaints and appeals.
The administration may clarify, expand or update the rules whenever necessary. Continued participation after an update means you accept the current version. Ranks, purchases, playtime, friendships and previous contributions do not provide immunity from enforcement.
